On 11 December, Plenary adopted the mandate for the commencement of negotiations with the Council. LIFE is the only EU programme dedicated solely to environmental and climate objectives; it bridges the gap between new knowledge development and its implementation. LIFE 2021-27 proposal has a general objective to contribute to the shift towards a clean, circular, energy-efficient, low-carbon and climate-resilient economy through targeted actions.
